Twain PTSA is a 501(c)(3) parent, teacher, student association.

We are comprised of volunteers dedicated to improving the education and well-being of every Twain student. Our mission is to be a strong voice for children and a resource for our families, school, and community.

TWAIN PTSA BLOCK PARTY: Volunteers needed

Sign up here

The June 9th PTSA Block Party is coming and VOLUNTEERS are needed! There are tons of fun activities and games planned, as well as lots of yummy food to be enjoyed. We need volunteers to help make this day happen. Volunteers are needed to help set up before the event, assist in a number of the activities (Carnival games! Paper airplane challenge! Photo booth!), keep lines moving smoothly, get food to those hungry bellies, and clean up in the end.

The event is broken down into four, 60 to 90 minute, shifts. Volunteer for one or more! As a nice little bonus, those who volunteer for more than one shift will get a super awesome Block Party shirt.

Email for more information.

Dance Party! Bounce Houses! Carnival games! Paper airplane contest! Airbrush Tattoos!

Come join us as we celebrate the school year and head into summer. Your PTSA leadership has been working hard at planning an EPIC event -- we'll have bounce houses, carnival games, a paper airplane contest, photo ops, a fun dance party with DJ, and a quiet play area.

This event is free, funded by our great PTSA donors.

Rain or Shine. Food will be served. This is a family event; adults must supervise their children.

Twain PTSA Block Party is sponsored by Twain PTSA, Mark Twain Elementary School, and Diana Carrillo Real Estate.

General Membership Meeting: June 2

Please join us for our June General Membership meeting on Thursday June 2nd at 7pm! We will vote on the 2022-23 budget, give awards to our wonderful volunteers and staff, and more.

Please register here to receive a zoom link to the meeting. You can join or leave anytime during the session.

be idle-free for our bobcats

We are spreading the word about the benefits of NOT idling your engine!

If you didn't get the flyer, check out these interesting facts. So think twice about idling while waiting to pick up your student, while in that drive-thru Covid test line, etc.

A big thanks to the 5th grade Green Team and their advisor Ms. Vold, to PTSA Sustainability chair Kate Winzig for leading the charge, and to Josue Gonzalez, Diana Carrillo, and Janine Sorenson for their support. Thanks also to Bonnie Leung for the great design work on our new no-idling signs and to the PTSA EZ Grant Committee for funding this project.
