We are comprised of volunteers dedicated to improving the education and well-being of every Twain student. Our mission is to be a strong voice for children and a resource for our families, school, and community.

We do this by providing volunteer and financial support for programs and activities that enhance our children’s education. We strive to do our best to engage and empower our children, families, educators, and community through communication, advocacy, and collaboration.

TWAIN PTSA BLOCK PARTY: Volunteers needed

The June 9th PTSA Block Party is coming and VOLUNTEERS are needed! We still need:

5 volunteers for the 5-6pm shift

6 volunteers for the 6-7pm shift

15 volunteers for the 7-8pm shift

Volunteers are how we are able to make these events happen. There are tons of fun activities and games planned, as well as lots of yummy food to be enjoyed. Volunteers are needed to help set up before the event, assist in a number of the activities (Carnival games! Paper airplane challenge! Photo booth!), keep lines moving smoothly, get food to those hungry bellies, and clean up in the end.

As a nice little bonus, those who volunteer for more than one shift will get a super awesome Block Party shirt.

Email volunteer@twainptsa.org for more information.

twain PTSA block party: june 9, 5:00-7:30pm

Dance Party! Bounce Houses! Carnival games! Paper airplane contest! Airbrush Tattoos!

Come join us as we celebrate the school year and head into summer. Your PTSA leadership has been working hard at planning an EPIC event -- we'll have bounce houses, carnival games, a paper airplane contest, photo ops, a fun dance party with DJ, and a quiet play area.

This event is free, funded by our great PTSA donors.

Rain or Shine. Food will be served. This is a family event; adults must supervise their children.

Twain PTSA Block Party is sponsored by Twain PTSA, Mark Twain Elementary School, and Diana Carrillo Real Estate.

from our 2nd Grade team: regina Johnson is retiring

Hello parents, former parents, and students of Regina Johnson! Our 2nd grade teammate of 32 years has decided that it is time for her to start a new adventure…. RETIREMENT!

Please help us send her on her way with a showering of love! You are more than welcome to write a note of appreciation, or bring flowers, gift cards, or small gifts to send her off in style! We will add them to her basket filled with goodies that she can use with all her spare time!

Please have your student, or you bring the cards/items to the office prior to June 15th

It would mean a lot to her to hear from former and current families.
